Hello. I am a writer and communications consultant based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

I’m lucky enough to occupy different work worlds. In one, I write feature articles and essays about food, arts, culture, history, literature, Colombo and Sri Lanka. My writing has been published in The Sunday Times, Sri Lanka, Scroll.in, Vogue India, Architectural Digest India, Gourmet Circle Magazine and The Platform UK.

In the other, I take on corporate and PR writing, book projects, communication consultancies as well as research and editing.

My research interests are food studies, digital culture, cities, media studies and social media. I was a Chevening Scholar in the UK, an ICCR scholar in New Delhi, India and completed an MA in Critical Media and Cultural Studies.

When I’m not working, I take pictures, cook, walk, read and pet cats. I am going to stop now because bios feel like awful, self-indulgent things.
